Portrait of Ryan

Ryan bolsters SuSy’s user-centric approach

We were excited to welcome Ryan to the SuSy team this summer. As a user experience designer, Ryan will be keeping our users at the heart of our product design. Ryan shared his experience of his first weeks at SuSy.

What’s your role?

As a Creative UX/UI Designer, I work with users to create products that are user-friendly, visually appealing and enjoyable to use. I enjoy diving deeper and understanding users’ pain points and crafting solutions that solve their problems while adding real value to their experience.

What’s your story?

I grew up in Goa, a small state in India, where I developed a passion for technology and started building websites on WordPress as a hobby. After moving to the UK, I discovered user-centered design, which really captured my interest. I took a few courses, got deeply involved, and fell in love with the field. Now, I’m thrilled to be working in a role that I’m truly passionate about.

Why were you interested in SuSy?

I was drawn to SuSy because of the meaningful problems SuSy addresses. The opportunity to directly impact people, businesses, and the environment in a positive way really resonated with me, and that’s what motivated me to join the team.

How has your first week been?

My first week has been great! I started working on SuSy’s PRAHEP project, creating some UI designs, which was an exciting way to dive into the existing design system and get hands-on with a project that’s currently in development.

What are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to working as part of the SuSy team and using my design skills to explore and create products that are  user-centric and fun to use.

What do you enjoy outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy cycling to explore new places, working out, watching movies (Sci-fi mainly) and creating 3D objects in Blender.
